Interstate drug dealer arrested in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, the police caught a drug peddler from another state. The police found five kilograms of ganja worth Rs 1.25 lakh. The person arrested is Jitendra Nahak, 27 years old, who works as a food delivery agent in Hyderabad and is originally from Odisha.

Jitendra moved to Hyderabad eight months ago after connecting with a friend on Facebook. He got a job as a Swiggy delivery agent in Madhapur and has been living with friends in Kothaguda. He heard from a friend in Odisha that people were buying ganja from a village there and selling it for profit in Hyderabad.

Jitendra decided to make money by buying ganja in Odisha at a low cost and selling it for more in Hyderabad. He purchased five kilograms of ganja for Rs 20,000 from a local agent in Odisha. The police caught him near Secunderabad railway station while he was trying to sell the drugs.

The police handed Jitendra over to Gopalpuram police along with the seized ganja for further investigation.
