Police Bust Drug Racket, Seize 300 Kg of Ganja in Hyderabad

The Rachakonda Special Operations Team (SOT) from Maheshwaram Zone, along with Abdullapurmet Police, has busted an interstate drug syndicate. They arrested a drug peddler and seized 300 kg of ganja worth ₹1.05 crore.

The arrested person has been identified as Ahmed Gulab Shaik, a transporter from Pune, Maharashtra. According to the police, he was struggling financially and wanted to make quick money. In search of an opportunity, he came into contact with two known drug peddlers, Vaibhav and Deva, from Pune. They offered him ₹3 lakh per consignment to transport ganja from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, to Pune and other locations.
