R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has blamed the top leadership of the BRS party for the murder of social activist Rajalinga Murthy. He said that Murthy was killed because he exposed alleged corruption in the Kaleshwaram project. Referring to the victim’s family’s statements, he accused former MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy of being involved in the crime.

The minister also assured that Chakradhar Goud, who is involved in a legal battle against former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, would be given protection. Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, he mentioned that the victim’s family has accused a former MLA of planning the murder. He further alleged that KCR’s family, including KTR and Harish Rao, knew about the plan.

Komatireddy questioned whether murder is the solution when corruption is exposed. He criticized KCR and his family, accusing them of exploiting the state. He pointed out that while money can be earned again, lives cannot be restored. He stressed that Rajalinga Murthy had fought against corruption in the Kaleshwaram project.
