Some people think that certain groups are trying to ruin the reputation of the Congress government in Hyderabad. This suspicion has been circulating among Congress members for a few weeks now. The city’s municipal and power departments have not been very efficient, causing problems for residents in areas like Banjara Hills, Srinagar Colony, Kamalapuri Colony, and Aurora Colony. The electricity department is cutting off power even when there is just a light rain, which was not the case in the past.

In the previous government, power outages only occurred during heavy storms. Now, power cuts happen even with minimal rain, lasting for hours. Residents are unhappy with this new situation. For example, some retired employees had to endure a two-hour power cut in the middle of the night, disrupting their sleep. The Steel and Mines Complex residents also faced issues when power utility officials left tree branches blocking their gate for four days.

Additionally, road conditions have worsened in some areas. Residents reported a dangerous hole in the middle of the road near Ratnadeep Super Market and ongoing drainage problems outside Venkateswara Kalyana Mandapam in Aurora Colony. They are calling on the MAUD minister to address these issues promptly.
