The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) at Miyapur Temple organized the Sri Krishna Janmastami Mahotsav on Monday. The event took place at the HMT Swarnapuri Colony Community Hall in Ameenpur, Miyapur, and was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion.
The programs began with Mangal Harathi, followed by group chanting of Hare Krishna and teachings from the Bhagavatham. On this special occasion, the temple also conducted the Shri Krishna Nama Sahastra Vali Yagya and Kalasa Abhishekam rituals. Additionally, joyful prizes were distributed to children who won various competitions held during the event.
RERA Chairman Satyanarayana attended the celebration as a guest and distributed prizes to the winners. Other notable attendees included Miyapur ISKCON Temple President Sriram Dasa, Endowment Officer Somaraju, and local representatives Ravi Yadav, Devender Rao, and Ramulu. Many ISKCON members, including Goparaju Srinivas and Devishetty Srinivas, as well as a large number of devotees, were also present.
