Former Minister and Suryapet MLA G Jagadish Reddy blamed the Congress government for the drought in the state. He said if Chief Minister KCR was in charge, the situation would be better. Reddy asked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to focus on opening irrigation projects like Sagar, Srisailam, and Kaleshwaram instead of buying MLAs.
He criticized the Congress for ignoring people’s suffering and focusing on buying MLAs instead of addressing the drought. Reddy criticized the CM’s tactics and said they won’t regain the public’s trust. He warned that if the Congress doesn’t keep its promises, people will turn against them.
Reddy called for a shift from political drama to reviewing the drought situation thoroughly. Municipal Chairperson Annapurna also participated in the media interaction with Reddy.
