Suryapet: Former minister and Suryapet MLA G Jagadish Reddy handed out new ration cards to recipients at the Suryapet District Collectorate. He emphasized that distributing ration cards is an ongoing effort to support public welfare.
During the event, he talked about the accomplishments under the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government, led by former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He mentioned that 6.47 lakh ration cards were distributed statewide during KCR’s leadership, a record not achieved by previous governments.
He noted the convenience introduced during KCR’s administration, allowing people to collect their ration from any location where they live, making the process easier for everyone.
He also commented, “If the Congress government fulfills all its election promises, we will be the first to commend them.”
Telangana Tourism Corporation Chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy described ration cards as a sign of dignity for the poor. He thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy for starting the distribution of quality rice and approving new ration cards, beginning in their district.
