The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) celebrated its 87th anniversary with great enthusiasm at the 212 Battalion Headquarters in Yetapaka on Sunday. The event highlighted the force’s commitment to duty, community involvement, and its key role in ensuring internal security.
The day began with officers and jawans paying tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives while serving. Commandant Deepak Kumar Srivastava honored the fallen at the Quarter Guard and later addressed the attendees. He spoke about the CRPF’s significant achievements, especially in tackling Left-Wing Extremism in Chhattisgarh. He confidently stated that Naxalism in the area would be completely eliminated by March 2026.
To celebrate the occasion, sweets were shared among the troops, followed by lively sports and cultural activities. Participants included jawans and officers from various locations like Gowraram, Paidagudem, Kistaram, Palodi, Potkapalli, and Dubbamarka.
In addition to these activities, a cycle rally took place in Kistaram and Dubbamarka. This event saw enthusiastic participation from both CRPF personnel and local villagers.
