Kotha Jaipal Reddy, who was supposed to be the Congress party’s candidate, left the party and joined BRS before the finalization of the Congress candidate for Karimnagar. In addition to this, two BJP corporators named Marri Bhavana and Kachu Ravi, along with BJP leader Marri Satish and others, also joined BRS. Minister Gangula Kamalakar and the new members from BJP and Congress leaders met with CM KCR at Telangana Bhawan in Hyderabad. During the meeting, the leaders expressed their commitment to contribute to the development of Karimnagar in the future and work for the party.
