Senior Congress leader and MLA T Jeevan Reddy recently criticized BJP leader and MLA Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Speaking at a public event, Jeevan Reddy questioned Sanjay’s contributions to the region over the past ten years. He asked, “What development did Sanjay bring in the last ten years? Will he suddenly bring change now?”
Jeevan Reddy also questioned Sanjay’s political experience. He said, “Does Sanjay have more experience than us?” He added that the Congress party came to power by opposing the misrule of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) over the past decade. “We fought against the BRS regime’s atrocities and came to power through the people’s support,” he said.
Talking about the political competition he faces, Jeevan Reddy remarked, “I am not competing with ordinary leaders. I am facing opponents at the level of the Chief Minister.”
He even compared his work to that of the late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. “Even in terms of development, I competed with YSR. That is the level of work I have done,” he said.
These remarks come as political parties in Telangana prepare for the next round of campaigning. Leaders across the state are stepping up their efforts and intensifying their speeches.
