A man named Mohammed Mannanullah Khan from Golconda is helping jobless youth find work in Hyderabad. He has organized 72 free job melas in the past two years and helped over 10,000 people find jobs in companies like Wipro, Amazon, HDFC, and many more. He started this initiative after seeing the impact of the pandemic on people’s jobs. Many who went abroad to work were forced to come back home, and graduates and postgraduates were struggling to find work. Mannan Khan’s job melas have helped people from diverse industries, including IT/ITES, finance, security, automobile, food delivery, and courier companies.

Middle-class families who were dependent on two salaries were hit hard by job losses during the pandemic. Hundreds of girls and women have been placed in jobs like accountants, cashiers, and counter sales due to Mannan Khan’s efforts. One beneficiary, Abdul Moiz Anas, said that he lost his job during the pandemic but was placed in a higher-paying one thanks to Mannan Khan’s job mela.
