Hyderabad: The city is celebrating the farm loan waiver with great enthusiasm. Party workers showed their gratitude to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu by performing the ‘Palabhishekam’ ritual on their portraits near Charminar and distributing sweets to the public.

The celebrations were led by Hyderabad District Congress Committee (DCC) president Mohammed Waliullah Sameer. Waliullah Sameer spoke to the media about the importance of waiving crop loans totaling Rs 31,000 crore for nearly 40 lakh farmers.
