Nagarkurnool (Kolapur) – T Rajasekhar Rao, the District Science Officer, was honored by Excise and Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for his impressive work in science education.
Rao received the National Best Science Teacher Award, an annual honor given by the Bharatiya Science Techno Festival (BSTF). This award recognizes teachers who make significant contributions in promoting science.
Rao also gained global attention after taking part in an international Zoom conference hosted by the Bhakti Vedanta Institute in Kolkata. The session featured Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry, Morten P. Meldal, as the chief guest.
During the discussion on “Click Chemistry,” Rao asked a question that Meldal personally answered. This interaction highlighted Rao’s active role in connecting with top scientists worldwide.
To celebrate his achievements, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao presented Rao with a shawl and a certificate of appreciation at the Kollapur camp office. Local educators, including Narayana, also attended and congratulated him.
Rao’s accomplishments shine a light on the growing importance of science education in the region and his dedication to inspiring young minds.
