Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha criticized the Congress for requesting the Election Commission to stop the Rythu Bandhu and Dalit Bandhu schemes. She questioned whether the Congress also wanted to discontinue electricity, Kalyana Lakshmi, and Shadi Mubarak.

Kavitha held a media interaction in Nizamabad and expressed her dissatisfaction with the Congress’s request. She highlighted the Congress’s insecurity and said that stopping these schemes would hurt farmers and damage the Congress’s reputation.

She emphasized that the upcoming election would focus on Rahul Gandhi and the welfare of farmers. Kavitha accused the Congress of neglecting farmers’ interests and trying to acquire their lands without proper compensation. She praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s government for consistently supporting farmers.

Kavitha also criticized the Congress for creating discord among religious groups by disrupting farmers and women. She assured farmers that her party had no intention of causing them any trouble. She mentioned that the Kamareddy master plan was halted four months ago due to objections from farmers.

Kavitha appealed to Muslims to consider the consequences of splitting their votes. She urged them to support KCR and the BRS party for communal harmony and job opportunities for Muslim youth.

She mentioned that Md Shabbir Ali, a Congress leader who ran away from Kamareddy, was now coming to Nizamabad. Kavitha encouraged people to look at the party’s values rather than focusing on an individual’s face. She criticized the Congress for only seeing minorities as a vote bank without working towards their development.

Lastly, Kavitha shared that her party had won all nine seats in the previous elections and was determined to do the same this time.
