Telangana Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar narrowly avoided danger when the stage he was on collapsed during a program in Cherlabootkur, Karimnagar district. The stage collapsed due to the excess number of people on it. The minister, along with other activists, fell down and was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Kamalakar stated that he only suffered a minor injury, but one of the ZPTCs may have broken their leg. Witnesses claimed that the stage collapsed because there were too many people on it.
