BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy accused Minister Ponnam Prabhakar of being involved in a Rs 100 crore scam related to the transportation of fly ash from the Ramagundam NTPC. According to Kaushik Reddy, each lorry should only transport 32 tonnes of fly ash, but 72 tonnes were being transported without any mention of quantity in way bills. He claimed that the minister was illegally making Rs 50 lakh through this operation, with the money being collected by Prabhakar’s son Anoop. Kaushik Reddy also mentioned that he caught 13 lorries carrying overload and criticized transport officials for seizing only two vehicles under pressure from the minister.
