Hyderabad: BRS MLC K Kavitha has asked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to cancel the recent Group-I exams and hold a fresh test. She said the government’s carelessness has badly affected the lives of job-seeking youth.

In an open letter to the Chief Minister, Kavitha claimed the job recruitment process lacked transparency. She said the way the Group-I exams were held and how the results were announced raised many questions among students. She also pointed out confusion caused by different hall ticket numbers given for the Prelims and Mains exams.

Kavitha mentioned that the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) had earlier said 21,075 students appeared for the Mains exam. However, when results came out, the number of candidates went up to 21,085. She questioned how the number increased. She also asked why there were still errors in attendance even though a biometric system was used.
