K Kavitha, an MLC and BRS leader, was taken to a hospital in Delhi from Tihar jail due to health issues. She was brought back to jail after medical tests.
Kavitha was arrested by the ED on March 15 in connection with an alleged liquor policy scam. A month later, she was arrested by the CBI for money laundering related to the same case.
The case involves corruption and money laundering in the Delhi government’s liquor policy for 2021-22. Kavitha is currently in judicial custody for both cases.
