The hearing for the regular bail petition of BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who was arrested in the Delhi liquor case and is currently in Tihar Jail, has been postponed. The Rouse Avenue CBI Special Court Judge is on leave, leading to the delay in her trial. The court is now scheduled to hear arguments on either April 22 or 23. Kavitha maintains her innocence in the liquor case and believes the charges against her are unjust.

Originally set for Tuesday, the case hearing was rescheduled due to the judge’s absence. Kavitha submitted her bail petition on Monday after being detained by the CBI. The new hearing date is set for April 22.
