KCR claims Kejriwal’s arrest is politically driven

KCR, the chief of Bharat Rashtra Samithi, criticized the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister. He called it a dark day in the country’s democratic history.

KCR mentioned that the recent arrests of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and BRS MLC Kavitha show that the ruling BJP government is trying to eliminate opposition. He accused the Central government of using agencies like ED, CBI, and IT to target opposition leaders.

According to KCR, Kejriwal’s arrest is politically motivated, and he demanded the withdrawal of illegal cases and the immediate release of those arrested.
