BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao faced a tense situation when party MLC K Kavitha was questioned and arrested by the Enforcement Directorate. KCR stayed at his residence instead of going to his farmhouse after learning about the ED officials at Kavitha’s house. He discussed legal steps with party leaders KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao.

Both KTR and Harish went to Kavitha’s house at 5 pm while the ED officials were serving the arrest warrant. The gates were closed, but they were allowed inside after getting approval from officials. Rama Rao confronted the ED officials for giving an arrest warrant to his sister, questioning the timing of the arrest on a Friday evening.

Senior BRS leaders supported security personnel for safe passage. Former minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy assured police officials that they would clear the route for Kavitha’s vehicle. BRS activists protested and tried to approach the vehicle, but police used lathis to disperse the crowd and take Kavitha to the airport.
