    MLC K Kavitha spoke about the importance of girls’ safety in Telangana during a women’s safety celebration organized by the Home department. She praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for taking responsibility for the safety of women in the state and forming She Teams soon after its formation. Kavitha compared the CM to a fourth lion who leads the police in the state without being seen. She also mentioned that 18 states took inspiration from Telangana and formed She Teams.

    Kavitha also addressed concerns that forming Telangana would lead to Naxalism, rowdyism, and communal riots. She explained that in the last nine years, there have been no curfews or communal riots in Telangana. Kavitha attributes this to the excellent security provided by the police, which has attracted investments to the state.
