Former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao stepped out of his Nandi Nagar residence after 4 hours and 45 minutes of interrogation and waved to thousands of BRS party workers who had gathered outside his home. The massive show of support came as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) continues its probe into the phone tapping case, just ahead of the upcoming municipal elections in Telangana.

The area surrounding KCR’s residence echoed with loud chants of “CM, CM, CM” and “We Want KCR” as party loyalists demonstrated their unwavering support for the former Chief Minister. The atmosphere was charged with emotion as supporters raised slogans expressing their solidarity with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader during what party workers described as a politically motivated investigation.

In a significant display of party strength, approximately 3,000 BRS cadres marched from Telangana Bhavan to KCR’s Nandi Nagar residence, accompanied by police personnel. The procession highlighted the organizational capability of the party and the deep connection between the leadership and grassroots workers. The timing of the SIT investigation in the phone tapping case has raised eyebrows in political circles, coming just before the municipal elections. The probe relates to allegations of unauthorized surveillance during the previous BRS government’s tenure. However, party workers and supporters have rallied behind KCR, viewing the investigation as an attempt to weaken the party’s position ahead of crucial local body polls.

After emerging from the interrogation session, KCR welcomed the party workers who had gathered at his residence.
