Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy, the Minister for Energy and BRS MLA candidate for Suryapet, conducted an election campaign in Suryapet. He visited SC Colony in Ward 2 – Kuda Kuda and performed a special pooja at Savari Lakshmamma Ammavari temple. Reddy handed over copies of the BRS manifesto to the voters and explained the welfare schemes in detail. The women of the colony welcomed him warmly.
During the campaign, Reddy emphasized that the BRS manifesto is a significant assurance by Chief Minister KCR to the people of Telangana. He praised KCR’s leadership and highlighted the achievements of his government, such as providing free water, electricity, Kalyana Lakshmi, and Rythu Bandhu to eligible individuals. Reddy also mentioned that Telangana is the only state to have waived off loans worth Rs 35,000 crore for farmers.
Reddy assured the people of Suryapet that the promises made in the previous election had been fulfilled and additional schemes had been introduced for eligible individuals. He highlighted the benefits of the KCR insurance, stating that Rs 5 lakh would be paid within ten days if the head of a family died. He mentioned that 93 lakh families in the state would benefit from this insurance.
Reddy urged the people of Suryapet not to be swayed by opposition parties’ empty guarantees. The programme was attended by local councillor Gouraiah, party leaders, and activists.
