Khanapur: Farmers in Maskapur, Surjapur, and Medam Pally villages now have easy access to paddy purchase centres. These centres officially opened on Monday, aiming to support Rabi season farmers.

Padigala Bhushan, Chairman of the Local Market Committee, launched the centres with help from local leaders. The centres were set up by IKP (Indira Kranthi Patham) to help farmers sell their paddy crops without hassle.

Bhushan encouraged farmers from nearby areas to bring their harvested paddy to these centres. He reminded them to take full advantage of the government's support price, which ensures fair pay for their produce.

He also instructed IKP officials to make sure the process runs smoothly. His main concern was that farmers should not face any trouble while selling their crops.
