Kisan Congress national vice president Kodanda Reddy criticized Union Minister G Kishan Reddy for not securing funds from the Centre during a severe drought in Telangana. He expressed disappointment that Kishan Reddy did not hold any review meetings despite 97 deaths from natural disasters in the state.
Kodanda Reddy urged Kishan Reddy to travel to Delhi and obtain funds from the Centre’s National Disaster Response Fund. He highlighted Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s efforts to address the drinking water crisis in Telangana, including collaboration with the Karnataka government to ensure water access for the people.
The Congress leader emphasized the importance of securing financial support from the Centre during times of crisis.
