Kishan Reddy to attend UN Event on Tourism & SDGs

The UN Event is being hosted by the UN World Tourism Organization and Kishan Reddy, the minister of tourism for our union, has been invited. New York City will be the location of the event. Mr. Kishan Reddy will highlight international travel and how it has impacted the Sustainable Development Goals during the event duration of July 10-14. 

 

In the UN Event, Kishan Reddy will emphasize the cooperation of nations at the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), focusing on the G-20 tourism decisions that were discussed in Goa, along with the implementation of the “God Road Map” and “India Declaration,” which are intended to strengthen partnerships and work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The HLPF will serve as the primary global platform for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the review of G-20 Tourism, according to representatives of Kishan Reddy. HPLF has been designated as An Apex of Architecture for a Purpose by UNGA Resolution 70/299.
