Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has announced that he will be contesting from Nalgonda assembly constituency. He is confident that he will win with a majority of 50,000 votes. He is urging people to attend the Congress party public meeting on September 17 in Kongarakalan. He wants people from all parties to come and listen to Sonia Gandhi’s speech. Reddy criticized the government for not paying salaries to state employees while other states like Jharkhand and Bihar are paying on time.

Reddy also took a swipe at Chief Minister KCR, saying that despite spending Rs 500 crore on a recent public meeting, only 4 lakh people attended. He believes that Sonia Gandhi’s meeting will attract around 10 lakh attendees. He also mentioned that Telangana would not have been formed without Sonia Gandhi’s efforts.
