Gadwal: The HYDRA organization should not only focus on protecting lakes but also target illegal activities involving government lands and properties.
Kommula Praveen Raj, the District President of the Teenmaar Mallanna Team in Jogulamba Gadwal, spoke at a press conference today. The event was held at the district headquarters in Jogulamba Gadwal.
During the press conference, Praveen Raj praised the work being done by the HYDRA organization in Hyderabad. He said that HYDRA has been doing a great job, but its efforts should not be limited to just Hyderabad. Instead, the organization should expand its operations to every village in Telangana state.
Praveen Raj also made a request to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who is currently the chairman of HYDRA. He urged the Chief Minister to take the lead in expanding HYDRA’s activities across the state. He suggested that a capable officer like Ranganath should be appointed to oversee the organization.
He emphasized that HYDRA should focus on reclaiming lakes and government lands that have been illegally occupied. Additionally, unauthorized constructions should be demolished, and the encroached lands should be returned to their rightful owners, especially the poor.
Finally, Praveen Raj called for immediate action against those involved in illegal activities, including any officials who have supported such encroachments. He demanded that these individuals be removed from their positions and imprisoned as a warning to others.
