The BJP candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from Chevella Lok Sabha segment said that his opponents were trying to copy his successful Praja Ashirwad Yatra. He mentioned that opposition candidates were facing internal dissent from their own cadre, with the Congress candidate facing the most opposition for not visiting the constituency in the last five years.
There is discontent among Congress cadre towards their candidate Ranjit Reddy, as they see him as an opportunist and turncoat. Despite trying to reach out to BRS cadre for support, they are upset with him for betraying them. The BJP candidate described Ranjit Reddy’s position as being stuck between two groups, leading to confusion.
Both Congress and BRS cadre’s main goal in this election appears to be defeating Ranjit Reddy.
