In Rangareddy, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, the BJP candidate for Chevella parliamentary constituency, thanked his supporters during his Praja Ashirwada Yatra in Kandukuru mandal in Maheshwaram. The yatra was initially meant to seek blessings before filing his nomination, but it turned into a huge success with large crowds at every stop.

Vishweshwar Reddy credited his success to the strong support of women and youth who backed him in large numbers. He mentioned that many people joined the BJP during the campaign, giving him confidence of winning with a majority exceeding three lakhs.

Despite his optimism, Vishweshwar Reddy acknowledged the challenges posed by opponents, especially the Congress party. He criticized the Congress for lacking public support in the state and for resorting to spreading rumors to undermine his candidacy. He also blamed their past victories on the misrule of the BRS family and unpopular policies of KCR, stating that national issues become more important during Lok Sabha elections.

Vishweshwar Reddy highlighted the support he received from grassroots leaders of both Congress and BRS, indicating a shift in alliances in his favor for the upcoming elections. He also criticized his opponent, Chevella Congress candidate Ranjith Reddy, accusing him of harassment within the party and a lack of trust and cooperation from constituents. He claimed that Ranjith Reddy’s reliance on community and caste affiliations to secure votes showed a desperate attempt to cover up his shortcomings.
