Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, BRS Dubbaka candidate, subjected to attack

BRS Dubbaka candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy was attacked with a knife by an unidentified person on Monday. Prabhakar Reddy was campaigning in Surampally Village in Daulatabad Mandal in Siddipet District when the attack occurred. He was taken to a hospital in Gajwel for treatment of stomach injuries. The party activists quickly responded and took him to the hospital. Finance Minister T Harish Rao, who was on his way to Narayankhed for a meeting, rushed to Gajwel upon hearing about the attack. He spoke with Prabhakar Reddy over the phone and stated that if necessary, he would be transferred to a hospital in Hyderabad for better treatment. Prabhakar Reddy is now being shifted to Yashodha Hospital in Secunderabad. The attacker was apprehended by party workers and handed over to the police.
