Kothagudem: Mokalla Tirumala Rao has taken up the role of Director for Electrical & Mechanical at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). This event is significant as Rao is the first from the Koya tribal community to reach such a high position in the company’s 136-year history.
The official ceremony was held at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad. Before starting his new role, Rao met with N Balram, the company’s Chairman and Managing Director. Grateful for the opportunity, Rao thanked the State Government and Singareni’s leadership. He expressed his commitment to helping the company grow and fulfill its mission.
Balram congratulated Rao and highlighted the importance of the Electrical and Mechanical Department. He emphasized how this department is key to enhancing operational efficiency and keeping machines running smoothly. As Singareni expands into solar, thermal, and other large energy projects, the department’s work becomes even more vital, aligning with the State Government’s goals.
