    KTR, the working president of BRS, visited Nalgonda and met with local farmers Ganneboina Mallaiah and Borla Ram Reddy in Mushampalli village. He listened to their problems and showed support by giving Mallaiah a cheque for Rs 1 lakh from party chief K Chandrashekar Rao.

    KTR praised Borla Ram Reddy for representing the struggles of Telangana farmers, as acknowledged by KCR. He called on Congress ministers to address issues like power cuts and water shortages faced by farmers directly and transparently.

    During discussions with villagers, KTR noted their concerns about drinking water and irrigation shortages over the past decade. He expressed worry about how these problems were affecting agriculture and people’s livelihoods.

    KTR criticized the Congress government for mismanaging water distribution, leading to dried-up crops and water scarcity. He demanded compensation of Rs 25,000 per acre for farmers affected by artificial drought conditions.

    KTR questioned the government’s support for farmers during tough times and dismissed claims made by Minister for Irrigation Uttam Kumar Reddy about power supply issues. Former minister G Jagadish Reddy and BRS leaders were also present during KTR’s visit.
