Hyderabad’s development could be at risk if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao doesn’t win again, according to the BRS working president KT Rama Rao. Speaking at Telangana Bhavan on Friday, Rao mentioned that welfare schemes were being implemented to support people from birth to death. He emphasized KCR’s philosophy of increasing wealth in the state and distributing it to the poor.
Rao also referenced comments from film star Rajinikanth and BJP MP Sunny Deol, who praised Hyderabad’s growth under BRS rule. He highlighted that the development of Hyderabad is evident to everyone except the opposition and questioned why people would not vote for a leader who has served them well for almost a decade.
The BRS leader also announced new initiatives, such as the Saubhagya Lakshmi scheme, which will provide Rs 3,000 per month to girls above 18 years old. Additionally, he mentioned plans to construct one lakh double bedroom houses in the city and ensure tap water availability every day. Furthermore, a life insurance scheme of Rs 5 lakh will be implemented for those with a white ration card, regardless of land ownership.
KTR emphasized that Hyderabad is on its way to becoming a world-class city with the implementation of these new facilities and programs.
