Hyderabad: BRS Working President KT Rama Rao clarified on Wednesday that he does not own a farmhouse in Janwada. He stated that the farmhouse in question actually belongs to a friend and that he has only taken it on lease.

KT Rama Rao was responding to allegations that his farmhouse in Janwada was built illegally on land designated as Full Tank Level (FTL) of water bodies. He emphasized that if the farmhouse is indeed in violation, he would ensure its demolition.

However, he also challenged the authorities to take similar action against illegal constructions by Congress leaders. KTR accused several Congress members, including CM Revanth Reddy, Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, MLA Vivek Venkataswamy, and Council Chairman G Sukhender Reddy, of having illegal structures in FTL areas.
