    During the foundation stone laying ceremony for the development of Pochampally Handloom Park, Minister KTR stated that a coalition government will be formed at the center. He also mentioned that there will be no government formed without BRS support. Minister KTR attended the event along with Minister Jagadish Reddy and spoke at the handicraft week held at the Balaji function hall.

    Minister KTR criticized the central government for canceling the All India Handloom Board, All India Power Loom Board, and All India Handicraft Board. The work shed program initiated by the Housing department has also been canceled. He expressed disappointment that these decisions were made without considering their impact.

    Minister KTR referred to Prime Minister Modi as a misguided leader for imposing a 5 percent GST on handloom products. He highlighted that during previous elections, many letters were written demanding the removal of GST. He also mentioned that Chief Minister KCR personally requested Modi to address this issue during their meeting in Chandur.
