The Telangana State IT and Industries Minister KTR has said that the Center has stopped the process of privatizing the Visakha Steel Plant. This is due to the efforts of KCR, who spoke strongly about the issue. The Singareni officials were sent to study the Visakhapatnam steel plant which led to the Center announcing that privatization was being temporarily stopped immediately.
Union Minister Faggan Singh has announced that the plant will work at full capacity, and he will discuss with RINL’s management and union leaders. KTR responded to this announcement by making it clear that it was KCR’s efforts that caused the center to back down on the privatization.
