KTR, the Working President of BRS, shared plans to create a strategy for better results in future elections. He urged party members not to stress about the recent outcomes.
Discussing the latest election results, KTR mentioned that the party aimed to win 700-800 wards. However, they secured clear victories in only 15 municipalities and performed well in 37 others. He acknowledged the challenges, commending the dedication of BRS members.
He noted recounts took place in Gadwal and Wardhannapet, where several rounds occurred due to protests from supporters.
KTR reminded that during the 2020 municipal elections, while BRS held power, they won 122 seats. At that time, Congress secured 4 seats, BJP 2, and AIMIM 2. In the latest elections, BRS captured over 30% of the wards, which he viewed positively.
