Hyderabad: On Tuesday, KT Rama Rao, the BRS Working President, strongly opposed claims from PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud about phone tapping. In response, he sent a legal notice.
Rama Rao criticized the Congress government for discussing phone tapping without proof, suggesting it was a tactic to distract the public from unfulfilled promises. He accused Congress of creating fake issues like phone tapping because they haven’t delivered on any promises since taking office. Such baseless accusations against him and other BRS leaders are unacceptable, he stated.
KTR demanded an immediate public apology from Mahesh Kumar Goud. He highlighted his cooperation with investigations into politically driven cases against him, asserting his commitment to the law. He cautioned that if Congress neglects its promises, like the six guarantees and over 420 election commitments, and continues with these political antics, it will encounter strong opposition. He warned that BRS supporters will not stay quiet if these defamatory remarks persist.
