During Ramzan, many people visit the Charminar area in Hyderabad for shopping and to try different foods. However, visitors have noticed that the iconic monument is not illuminated. Usually, the monument is decorated with colourful lights, but this year it is completely dark at night. This is surprising to many people, as Charminar is a famous tourist spot in the city.

Opposite the monument, the Nizamia Tibbi Hospital is illuminated, but nothing has been done to light up Charminar. Visitors have expressed disappointment about the lack of lighting, as they were expecting to see the monument beautifully illuminated during Ramzan. They have also noticed that one of the minarets is under construction.

Stall holders in the area have said that if it wasn’t for the thousands of stalls around Charminar, it would be completely dark. They believe that the State government should have illuminated the monument, especially since there are so many people visiting during Ramzan.
