The Lakshmipur Lift Irrigation Scheme in Hyderabad has received clearance from the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL). The scheme aims to lift water from the Kaddam project. The State has committed to compensatory afforestation to address this. The board also approved 11 road widening proposals in Left Wing Extremist (LWE) affected areas and five Panchayati Raj roads in the Kagaznagar division of Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district.
