Hyderabad: A large number of police officers have been stationed outside the Telangana Secretariat. This is in response to a planned protest by the Telangana Government Staff and Pensioners (TGSP) association.

The TGSP is protesting to push for the implementation of a “One Police-One State” policy. This policy aims to unify policing practices across the entire state of Telangana.

Many TGSP members and their supporters gathered near the Secretariat to raise their concerns. To prevent any possible issues, authorities have placed police in the area to keep things under control. Traffic around the Secretariat has been diverted, and security has been tightened.
