Dr K Laxman, a BJP Parliamentary Board Member, expressed his concern over the treatment of unemployed individuals in the State by the government. He spoke to the media after meeting with State BJYM president Bhanu Prakash and 11 others who were arrested and released on bail. The BJYM has questioned the irregularities in the TSPSC question paper leak and demanded justice for job aspirants. However, the Chief Minister and Education and Home Minister have not instilled confidence in the unemployed, instead using police force against those protesting for justice and sending them to jail. IT Minister K T Rama Rao claimed that TSPSC is an independent body and the government has no involvement in its functioning. Dr Laxman alleged that question papers were sold and the TSPSC leak is a scam. He stated that only an inquiry by a sitting judge would uncover the facts and expose those behind the scam. The BJP will continue to fight against the TSPSC scam until justice is done for the unemployed candidates. If the BJP comes to power in Telangana, they will announce an annual job calendar and fill all government vacancies. Dr Laxman also noted that the Osmania and Kakatiya University campuses, previously epicenters of the separate Telangana movement, are demanding justice above political differences. The BJYM will not be deterred by government oppression and will continue to fight for the interests of the unemployed. If the BJP comes to power, an inquiry will be conducted and those behind the TSPSC question paper leak scam will be brought to justice, regardless of their status.
