Lay Down Arms, Pope Urges Rival Sudanese Parties

The pope has asked Cardinal Matteo Zuppi to help bring peace to Ukraine. He is the head of the Italian bishops’ conference. The pope also spoke about the violence in Sudan and called for an end to the fighting. He asked for weapons to be set aside and for the international community to help bring about dialogue.
