Hyderabad, November 28, 2025 – In thrilling news for football fans, football maestro Lionel Messi officially confirmed that Hyderabad has been added to his much-anticipated GOAT Tour, with the visit scheduled for the evening of December 13.

Messi took to Instagram to share the news, expressing gratitude and excitement: “Thanks for all the love from India! The GOAT tour kicks off in a few weeks’ time!!! I’m happy to share that Hyderabad has been added to my visits to Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi. See you soon India!”

Tickets for the Hyderabad leg are now available exclusively on District, through district.in or the District app. Hyderabad ticket prices start at Rs.1,500.
Tickets are expected to start at Rs.3,500 for general admission. Fans can also opt for premium packages up to Rs.50,000, which may include meet-and-greet sessions, signed merchandise, and VIP experiences.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his happiness, saying: “I look forward to welcoming and hosting G.O.A.T. Lionel Messi in Hyderabad on December 13. It is an exciting moment for our city and for every football fan who has dreamt of seeing a legend like you on our soil”.
A delegation from the GOAT Tour met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence, during which the CM unveiled the official tour poster and received a football autographed by Messi’s team. The government has also planned to invite Messi to become the global ambassador for “Telangana Rising 2047”.

With Hyderabad now on board, the GOAT India Tour achieves a true pan-India presence, spanning the East (Kolkata) and South (Hyderabad) on December 13, West (Mumbai) on December 14 and North (Delhi) on December 15.
