The Lions Club of Hyderabad North marked a major milestone on May 20, 2025, by celebrating its 60th anniversary at Dream Land Gardens in Secunderabad. This event, known as the Diamond Jubilee, honored six decades of dedicated service to the community.
The celebration drew over 250 members, all gathered to reflect on the club’s long-standing impact. Ln. Manoj Shah, the International Vice President, attended as the chief guest. He praised the club’s commitment to helping others and highlighted its role in improving countless lives.
One of the key moments of the evening was the launch of a brand-new Charitable Trust. This initiative aims to expand the club’s reach and fund future service projects.
In a powerful gesture, the club donated 60 bicycles to underprivileged girl students. This donation supports education by helping young girls travel to school more easily, promoting both mobility and learning.
Ln. Naveen Majety, the current President, led the event with the support of PID Ln. R. Sunil Kumar, who helped organize the celebration. Their leadership guided the evening’s success and energized members for future projects.
To honor the club’s roots and growth, past presidents joined together for a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony. This moment celebrated the club’s strong legacy and its continuing mission to create positive change in society.
The Lions Club of Hyderabad North continues to be a shining example of service, compassion, and community leadership.
