Liquor stores to close in parts of city for Mahankali Jatara

Hyderabad: Several liquor stores in the city will be shut for two days due to the Sree Ujjaini Mahankali Jathara starting July 13. Police Commissioner C V Anand announced that liquor outlets in certain areas will not operate from 6 am on July 13 until 6 am on July 15. The affected police jurisdictions include Gandhinagar, Chilkalguda, Lallaguda, Warasiguda, Begumpet, Gopalapuram, Tukaramgate, Marredpally, Mahankali, Ramgopalpet, and Monda Market.
