Lorry collision causes RTC bus to overturn in Bhadradri Kothagudem district

A bus in Bhadradri Kothagudem district was hit by a coal lorry, causing injuries to 43 passengers. The RTC bus had 47 passengers and was travelling from Bhadrachalam depot to Vijayawada on Sunday morning. The accident occurred when the lorry hit the bus at high speed at Anandagani in Chunchupally mandal. The bus flipped twice and overturned, causing four passengers to sustain serious injuries while the others suffered minor injuries. The injured were taken to District General Hospital in Kothagudem. Passengers from Vijayawada, Nuzividu, Bhadrachalam, and Kothagudem towns were among those injured.
