The Telangana State Haj Committee (TSHC) in Hyderabad selected eight additional Khadim-ul-Hajjaj (Haj volunteers) for this year’s pilgrimage. These volunteers will assist pilgrims during their journey and take care of their needs. The selection was made based on a ratio of 200:1 to ensure adequate support for the pilgrims.

Liyaqath Hussain, EO of the committee, announced that the selection of volunteers was updated to a ratio of 1:200 by the Haj Committee of India. This change was made to better cater to the welfare of pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. A total of 118 applicants were eligible for selection, with 8 chosen as additional volunteers and 4 on the waiting list.
